I have a Panasonic DVD recorder/HDD/Freeview box and can work most of it using a Beo4 and a DVD controller. Not tried too hard to work out all the functions but it is pretty good. I believe B&O could be bringing out a recordable DVD pretty soon though.

The BV3-28 was effectively a low cost set designed to bring the customers in. By the time one added all the nice extra, one could see the 32" was the way to go. The 28" was based on the MX/BV1 chassis and doesn't have the opening curtain feature. I would go for an Avant 28 if you don't want a 32" screen as it is still the same

The Beolab 9 uses the basic format of the Beolab 1 - hence the ICE for the bass and AB for the mid and treble. Same basic chassis.

That is of course exactly what they are designed for. Too new for me to have heard them I am afraid. Maybe the group visiting Struer might have an opportunity to hear them?

I have a Panasonic DMR-EH60D which I use with a B&O DVD controller. I don't have the correct codes for all functions but I can work it with my Beo4 to turn it on and change channels. (I can record onto disc etc. Still working out all the functions but it is pretty intuitive. The recorders listed are the 50 and the 54D - I am using the 54D codes

And I have added the service manual!
