Yes - you can do this - but it would probably be cheaper to buy a pair of Beolab Pentas. The only problem will be that the displays will not work but there are no displays in Beovox Pentas and if you do upgrade at some time, they will work!

wirralsimon: How would I know if I needed new capacitors? Is this something I should pre-emptively replace or only if I experience problems? Simon On the whole, if it works, I would leave it alone. If it starts becoming temperamental - not switching on at times or doing odd things with the display, think capacitors!

Hi Edward, Where are you at present? PM Lee and I am sure he will sort out the joining issue. There was an issue with Australian cards and also with registered addresses but he knows far more than I do.

In my experience, B&O have usually just fixed something if it has been a fault and very little goes wrong anyway. Obviously as things get older then faults do occur but these would be past a warranty time really no matter how long it was. I do agree that a 3 or 5 year warranty would probably not be too expensive to offer and would give one another

No doubt it will come with the STB-C solution but I do think B&O need to realise that this is rapidly becoming inadequate.
