Interesting thread. The only problem I have with B&O as an audiophile brand is that the source devices are not as good as the BL5. We still await the Beosound 5, or whatever it will be called, which is supposed to be of a similar quality to the BL5. In the meantime, a Beogram CD7000 could be the answer!

Agree! Sounds like a bent pin! My friends computer did this after we has been moving it! Fixed with a small screwdriver! have you unplugged either end of the SCART recently?

Real! I will do something about it on products as soon as I can! Lee has already done the spade work!

You can buy an equivalent model from Soundsmith but they are pricey. Ebay is a source but the quality is very variable.

The 1202 and 1203 differ considerably from the 1200. The 1202 (the one to have!) is really pretty similar to the Beogram 3000 and lost the arm support you are talking about. I think the 1203 was more like the Beogram 2000 and so was not quite so advanced and was cheaper to produce. I don't think it had a peg either.

Forgot about this section! I should have deleted it as it was really just to test it! But since you have been posting comments! I have a custom built Triumph GT6 convertible made for me by David Aspinall of Anglian Triumph. GT6 chassis and running gear with a Californian Spitfire body, painted in Sapphire Blue with a Shadow Blue interior. Stage 3 2

I like the design and sound quality of the BS3 but would never buy one. Not to include either AM or DAB means that it useless to me. I cannot listen to cricket which is the major reason for a portable radio for me. Huge shame!

What products do you have? Alex is correct that they do a variety of things on different products. Cue and Review in video products is an obvious one and they are also instrumental in choosing how to browse music stored on your computer if using a Mac and N.Music. Also used with the Set Top Box Controllers with TV sets. Download some of the user manuals

You can get the cartridges on Ebay but you take the risk that they are bust or worn. The Soundsmith ones are very good if a little hand made compared to the originals. I would (and have) buy one of these from preference. The Beogram is not that different in quality level to the Rega - you will find the Rega has better bass which is down to the record

I am not judging the BV8 till I have seen it. Its main problem will be that LCD TVs are so cheap now and a stand alone 26" for £2000 seems rather expensive unless it really is good. And if it is that good, why buy a BC6? The lack of digital tuner is the big disappointment to me. A free standing set - but needing an extra box immediately.
