  • Re: Anyone in the UK want to service my Beomaster 6000 (80s)

Water damage is often not a good thing. While I generally don't offer to repair, if you don't have any luck or the quotes are too high, as I have never looked at this range in the past I might be interested in aquiring it for experience. Olly.

  • Re: Beogram 4000: worth it?

That was a good spot from Jaff!!! The pulley normally dips just at or below the surface plate hence why there is a cutout. I doubt overall diameter is going to be all that critical, so I would make something that looks right. I have a 4002 apart at the moment I will check that pulley as I doubt the outer diameter changed.... I would still get the player

My rule is that you NEVER win anything by a small margin at auctions. Makes losing a whole lot easier, and holds that urge to nudge your limit up at the last minute (but not always)!!! Anyway, I suspect there will be at least a couple of folk clambering into the loft now that a remote has gone for a decent amount, either that, or cursing the day they

  • Wow!

I know they are very nice and perhaps much undervalued, but I would not have expected a Beomaster 2200 to go for £165

I would snap it up :) Looks very nice cosmetically but it is far more complicated than the other models. There is a good fault finding guide in the SM though! No harm in trying to barter though!!! offer E80.

  • Re: Beogram 4002 running slightly slow

I compared my decks there isn't any obvious difference but they are a floor apart in different environments! Regarding the motor are you talking about

  • Re: Good VHS to a non-B&O tv

I think just about any model would work but in a limited way, unless you have a remote. I still have a Panasonic NV-FS90 and unless I specifically wanted a B&O to match my lx for instance, I would probably choose that every time!

yes it is worth it I think if you have got the room! @ wirralsimon did you see that ex-wife-attacked Beosystem 5000 last week? - not far from you - I placed a bid myself but the guy wasn't very helpful and it went for more than I was willing to pay for in the end... Would love to have known the story behind it....
