In order to quantify the merits of the BS3 processor,it would be interesting in comparing the PQ,particularly SD,of the BV7 against the Samsung TV combined with an external processor such as a Lumagen,or DVDO.
I'm guessing it would fall somewhere in the middle. I'm not even sure it would trend toward
I keep hearing this but do we know this to be a fact (especially since the BV3 is getting on now). Why would anyone elses DSP be necessarily worse than B&O's. In the olden days of needing extra analogue electronics to do the picture processing it was easy to understand why the Avant etc. had the best picture
Hasn't the Beocom 5 been delayed till the new year apart from 'sample' ones for dealers? Maybe pre-orderes have used all the stocks up?
Not in the US. Can't speak for ROW.

Believe it or not (I didn't at first) it's actually as easy as it sounds. It slots in like an old Nintendo cartridge and just works.

I'd put the TV on the wall and put the table stand in the closet until I could find the BeoLab 7 if I were you. The 3500 is a great

Franco, The BeoLab 7 is one of the small group of speakers that does not have a "line in" option. It can, however, be used with a special adaptor that wires in an AC trigger to the turn on pin. It's about $50 here in the US, but I think it's also a locally produced part. We call it the BeoLab 2 Line Adaptor since it was initially developed

Welcome MacJonny,
1) If I connect to this through the headphone jack on the Beocenter 9500 will this turn the main R and L speakers off if I also have a speaker connection via the powerlink? In other words, would connecting a pair of headphones (since this is equivalent to the Beocenter 1) mute the main speaker output

Yeah, there are many known issues with this little devil. A trip to the service center should set it right, though.

Isn't terrestrial broadcast set to expire in the UK? Even if it weren't I can't imagine it would be worth it unless there was something of tremendous interest.
