As the answer to the question is apparently NO, then the problem could be in several areas associated with the tube including Loss of HT supply to the line output drivers or a problem with the drivers and associated circuit Bad connection on the tube base RGB section

As previously stated the PSTN firmware is updated using a Service Tool which can be done by your dealer for which there may be a charge. If you have a Mark I Beocom 6000 then the only way to check the base firmware version is with the Service Tool. What is the exact problem you are trying to fix ?

Sorry for the delay in responding to your posting. As far as I can understand your problem is as follows:- Sound and Vision go completely You cannot turn off the TV with the remote It sounds like you have a heat related power supply fault where a component is failing when it gets hot, unfortunately B&O's service policy these days is not to fix

When you say that the screen goes black, is that as if the TV is switched off or is there a very faint blank raster visable ? As you are apparently still using the analogue signal and the sound remains when the fault occurs, it narrows the

Michael, A very warm welcome to Beoworld. First, let me say that the XML Converter help file suggests using the Lintronic software to capture the timings of unknown remotes. The Beo5 does support carrier frequencies of 56 Khz, in fact it supports any carrier frequency between 30 Khz and 80 Khz. However, the standard Philips RC6 protocol does NOT use

And can be used from there. A dealer I asked thought it wasnt possible. Im looking for a remote solution / option for someone who is has memory problems. So navigation

Other than LifeStyle AV, Bosscom have informed me that their full range of B&O related products may be purchased from www.linksupply.dk
-
These are made/distributed by Bosscom of Denmark and you can view their B&O products HERE You are correct the right hand ones are for pre-made cables. Unless you are a retailer you cannot normally purchase directly from Bosscom, but they do provide a facility to tell you where your nearest retailer is located.
