Good point. These days people are prepared to fix a plasma/lcd to a wall even if it means watching it at 90 degrees & looking up at it. I've seen some bizare positions.

Not for me but a friend asked Can you install a TV above a fire. A) I'm sure the heat would be a problem B) I'm also sure that drilling into the chimney could be dangerous, (carbon monoxide escaping) C) Also it would be difficult to hide the cables.

britops: My BS4 is sat on a B&O cabinet with a smoke black glass top (I had cut for only £5 with safety edges and a hole in the middle for the cables to be hidden).

I love my BS4. With the glass closed its very understated and classy. Its design is very unique & interesting to look at, whereas the 9000 is so obviously a CD player on first sight. Also when the glass opens to reveal itself, it never fails to impress. The SD card function works very well IMHO and displays track info which a CD doesnt. I wouldnt

I'm very interested. I would love to hear some Beolab 5's, I've still never heard any playing my music. I also wonder if we could combine it with a future Beoworld prize draw live . (How actually do you make the draw? Names in a hat?)

I didnt know it could sinc with the Beocoms. Wow have I missed something. I nearly bought one when the first came out but didnt because it wouldnt sinc as first thought. When/what did it change?
