Officially started my media center / pseudo BeoMedia 1 project. It will provide mostly audio but also some video. All audio sent to BM4500 and system. I hit the computer stores right after work, grabbed a SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS card with the matching Audigy 2 connection interface control board thing. ...and I have no idea how to hook the two together

This is a very interesting thread. I have an old Dell that i have been thinking of turning into a sort of media center for my BeoSystem, the idea of making a BeoMedia 1 out of it crossed my mind.... It has a 1.8ghz processor so a very good foundation. I need to get a new HDD and have it cloned but thats just a detail. I also need to get a new soundcard

Leslie, that is an awesome looking system you have there!!! Very well done! On a side note; Look out for my 3000-2 fixin thread to pop up soon everybody. School is out and I want my vintage system up and running again ASAP!
Thanks Evan, you make me curious about the 3000-2 fixin
So is it kind of like a Beosystem 1 built in to the rear of the Avant?
Looks like it! This would be one killer machine! (to me at least)

Ok, chill - according to them - is the opposite of party music, with the preference of course being party music.
There is no accounting for my taste
Stylo is good, I certainly have been cranking Dare a lot since I bought it. I've been listening to the iPod shuffle all week long while hosting the girlfriend and company and it seems my "good" stuff isn't cutting it... My music is too "chill"

So, with this new white obsession of mine, I've started to get a little more detailed... Custom white audio cables Once I get back inside of these pieces for the recap, I'll be adding white power cords as well.
