Very nice! Actually the prize for last years Beoworld Personality of the Year was an ST/P pick up arm. I had it mounted on a special plinth before it was presented to Lee. Both my 3000s (one Thorens and one Acoustical) have the normal ST/L arm. Not seen an ST/P mounted on a 3000 before. Very nice! I didn't think the SP12 worked that well as it seems

tom: Peter: We are looking at some system of identifying moderators more permanently - I quite like just being a normal member though and try to moderate in the background. i understand that you like being a normal member instead of the chief, but i prefer moderators to be clearly identifiable. That is a point where I have to second Andy: if now someone

I suppose it offers choice but you are correct. It does have the digital out which the BS4 does not but it doesn't have the SD card slot. It will be interesting to see the price!

The following cartridges are interchangeable: MMC3000,4000,5000,6000,20S,20E,20EN,20CL and SP15. Obviously some are better than others! The MMC3000,4000,5000,6000 and SP15 will be very old by now.

A man after my own heart! Still using a Beolit 600 for its wonderful tone!

dornbirn2000: Hi Peter, thanks for your reply. Is it possible to make the Beosound 4 the Audiomaster and to demote the Beosound 9000 to a slave and still listen to sources from the Beosound 9000 through the Beolabs connected to the Beovision 3? Best regards Edgar Interesting question! Probably not but worth investigating! I can see issues with remote

Used mainly for speech CDs and tapes but the odd music CD does go on when I am emptying the dishwasher or washing up! I was going to get a BS1, but it won't play tapes and the Century would get greasy too easily. Have just bought the Logitech iPod dock and speakers to see if that is better though!

To be honest, I can listen to almost anything! I prefer certain speakers but it is the music that I like! In the kitchen we have a cheap Sony radio cassette (too difficult to link as the walls are very thick!) and it is fine!
