I have unstuck the majority of the pinned posts as they should have all been read by now. Most are actually set to unstick after a few days anyway so were about to do this automatically!

Red is usually positive and blue negative (but you knew that!) but I do have the charger service manual - I'll check it tonight. I notice it is not on site so I will try to remedy that as well!

I would get the BS3 - but would retain a smaller screen as well as a projector. I don't know if you have seen, but B&O can do a clever trick with surround sound now in that you can have two screens in one room, in different places - say set at right angle to each other , but using the same speakers. The main difference between the Beocom 1 and 6000 is that the 1 has the facility to deal with two incoming lines. The manuals are on site.

I prefer plasma to LCD as I think the colour is better and blacks are more black. The new D9 and D10 screens have been reported to be rather sensitive to burn in though - think logos on the screens - and this might make me a little wary. Varies - the font on the Beolab/Beomaster 5000 seems to be Helvetica - I am sure Frede can tell us exactly what it is. I replaced the number on one of mine using Letraset Helvetica and it looked very good.

I must confess to being very sorry that i am not coming to struer mainly because I would love to meet Frede and see his workshop. I do hope I get the chance and might bring my 5000 series over for a service!

Crooner: This is absolutely beautiful. I'm sure that most SP styli are interchangeable. It would be interesting also to apply the "highest spec" stylus "can" to this special 12 inch arm - the SP14.
