The system you have sounds better than the 6000 system in my view. Although this is a great system, it disapponts me in some ways. The amplifier is not as good as it could be and the top panel should be glass rather than plastic which scratches. They actually sound very similar but the Beogram 4000 is in my opinion the best looking and also has the heavier platter. It is also the best made and has not had the bean counters stripping it which is what happened later on! New equipment sometimes does not have a service manual though most do and these are not a problem to obtain. The older equipment is more problematic!

The user manuals are all on the site for Gold and Silver members. The service manuals are not as I don't have them!

Bought one but have since moved on. Didn't really think about the price as I just wanted one but it cannot be described as good value. Find it interesting that most people I know who have one have another phone for work!
