• Re: How independant is Beoworld?

For me it is a question of honesty. If the site is taking a new direction - where things are discussed with B&O - then fine, you've highlighted the advantages.
Is it commercially viable for someone to write an app for this to follow threads etc?
I do develop for the iPhone, and thought about the same thing exactly. Viewing post from the iPhone is OK, but a "UITableView" type navigation would be much better. Posting for the iPhone just does not work for some
but i do think i owed it to B&O to at least discuss the image with the OP.
No you don't. You could have taken that decision independently, that could have made sense and in accordance with the new B&O friendly orientation of the site. If B&O had complained for a breach of copyright, that could have
As far as I am aware no site sponsor has EVER asked for a thread to be edited or removed. Any such actions are done entirely by the moderators - often after some debate.
Somehow a copy of the email of the guy complaining about his competitor "advertising" ended up in my inbox!!! Not exactly sure why

Lee, I am always behind you usually but here, come on... how can you tell someone that hiding behind a fake name to post some pictures is not respectable, when "the Sheep" who I think you know well have been doing just that! Also, I have noticed a few post being removed recently at the request of some of the site sponsors (and not just B&O

I believe B&O is in talk with "the kind customer". A few years ago, they started to advertise BM-Link on their site and it looks like they had a sort of deal. They really should get the source code and manage it themselves... ---------------- On this note, I have an announcement to make... another kind customer, myself, is working on a
