Matt, Your problem is NOT related to option settings. It is likely that one of the data wires at a Masterlink connection has an intermittent short or high resistance to ground which will cause the protocol handshaking to start over again as if you were powering everything up from scratch. That's why it has such a large delay. Are all the Masterlink

Matt, What is the exact configuration of your masterlink ? Is the wiring daisy chained from product to product ? if so what is the order of the from the master AVANT ? I will repeat myself, how often does the problem occur, is it:- All the time when all products are connected to the masterlink. Intermittently when all products are connected to the masterlink

Power down the master AVANT and remove the Masterlink cable as previously suggested. How often does the problem occur ?

Hello Matt and a very warm welcome to Beoworld. There can be many reasons for the type of problem you have described. Firstly, is your AVANT connected to any other products via the Masterlink ? These B&O control signals are translated by the PUC or STB-C and sent to the STB. These are XML control files which

Last time I purchased a Beocom 6000 upgrade kit it cost around £60 If you decide to purchase a Beocom 2, then your base will need to have software version 2.5 which I am sure the dealer will upgrade for free, if needed as part of the purchase.

Unless you have the very earlest Beoline bases, a Mark II Beocom 6000 will work with your current base. That is why bases are rarely updated except to fix a few small issues which most people don't see. You can also have Mark I and Mark II handsets working on the same base. You can also have your Mark I handsets upgraded to Mark II's with a
