Kathy, A very warm welcome to Beoworld. A lot of US 110 volt products can be used in the UK provided you use a step down transformer. Have a look HERE for an example. What US electronic products do you have ?

Errol, I agree that the version 3.0 tool has many functional improvements, unfortunately it has also created several major software bugs including issues which did not exist in the previous version. You certainly could add items to the GlobalKeySpecification.xml and whilst it should work I would not recommend it because it may well show up unknown issues

You are correct, it is another of the outstanding software bugs in the Beo5 Configuration Tool

A very warm welcome to Beoworld The order of the buttons is defined in the XML file. The location and size are defined in the form as below:- nPage="1" nX="0" nY="20" nWidth="213" nHeight="25" nRowFinal="1" nColumnFinal="0" nPage="1" nX="213" nY="20"

Thanks for the update about the Humax Fox Sat HDR, I will add it to the list.

A very warm welcome to Beoworld. The volume wheel should turn smoothly and you will hear a click in the speaker as you turn it. It should NOT jam or be difficult to turn, if it is, then I suggest you return it to your dealer.

There are not many units on the market for "Freesat" yet, but I would go for the Humax box because:- There is already a PUC entry available in the B&O library for the HD Freesat box In my view it is currently the best unit on the market, but clearly there are currently not many different types available As the remote uses NEC protocol

I am sure I can assist you if required, no matter where you are in the world, as I have assisted members located in both the US and Australia without problems. If you have the Beo5 Configuration Tool and require a 3rd party XML file for a particular product, then please send me an e-mail stating what you wish to do.

A very warm welcome to Beoworld. Assuming you are using the latest version 3.0 of the Beo5 Configuration Tool, then unfortunately this is one of the outstanding software bugs and has nothing to do with your actual configuration. The workaround is to create your colour and text requirements in the 3rd party XML file itself, therefore bypassing the need
