The new BV7-40 with internal Blu Ray disc player is tested in German VIDEO/HomeVision magazine issue 12/2009. BV7 in the top 4 LCD 40 inch for image quality. The results: 75 points for sound. New sound rating for the testers, max scale 60 points changed to 75 points!
I assuming that they didn't
I'm very interested in the BV-7 55", but....have limited space
Have you seen the BV7-55" for real? Although we'd all love to have a larger TV, the BV7-55 is huge! It's 15" or 38cm larger than the 40", and that's hardly small. I wouldn't be looking at the 55" if you

As a lot of people know on here, my BV7-40 MKIII and now the MKIV both crash when using a Sky HD box connected to the BV7-40 and BV8, at the same time. It's never gone away! The BV7-40 MKIV crashes and eventually turns off - it's not the Sky box, either, as you can continue to control and use the box, through the BV7, connected to the BV8! It
buy a sony or a pananeer - what could you trade in THEN ??? i think it's pretty amazing of bno to give this option tbh
To be fair, Sony UK are doing a £150 trade-in deal at the moment. Considering their TVs are £699, that's not so bad, as a percentage of the retail price.
and the fact they update it every year or so with things like blu ray is the icing on the cake
How's that a good thing? It annoys me immensely as it means I want the latest panel and the trade-in from the MKIV to MKV (as an example) is more than the cost of a new BV8 ;). It would be the 'icing

I own a BV8 and BV7-40 (BL7.4/BL9s) and have spent more time watching the BV8 recently. Although the audio is decent, when I move back to the BV7 it's a completely different experience. You hear nuances in the sound that you just don't get on the BV8. That's partly thanks to the 7.4 and the ALTs. When I moved from the BV7-40 MKIII to BV7

I've been there for a PR thing and it was a stunning venue - they've refurbished since I visited, too. Definitely worth a visit.

Yes, you're right Lee. My uncle ran a B&O store up North, for a few years. When he decided to leave and set up his own A/V store, with other brands, B&O didn't want to know. He was really keen to include B&O as he thought it would stand up against Arcam and the other brands he stocked and he was confident the product would sell.

I think it's only shipped with the pre-packaged Sunday Times (where they put the entire paper in a clear plastic bag). My friend didn't get a B&O supplement, bought in the same town, but from a newsagent. The paper I bought from Waitrose, in the plastic bag, contained the supplement. It's nothing special though. Nothing we've never
or would you take a BeoSound 9000 instead ? If i connect a BS 9000 with a BeoMaster 5 and a TV, wouldn´t i have then more options as with a BeoSound 5 ?
No, I sold mine and haven't regretted the sale. Sure it looked good - like most B&O kit - but I don't spend £4000 on kit to sit in the
