• Re: Beolab Penta

Re Beolab Penta's worth buying? Yes, probably the best value B&O speakers out there at present. Differences between MK1, 2 & 3's? MK 1's have speaker link connections. MK2's have both speaker link & power link. MK 3's have powerlink only. Things to be concerned about? MK1's & 2's will probably have foam rot

  • Re: Loewe and B&O: My dreadful experience

WAV, I can only offer my sincerest thanks & admiration for the professional way you have offered your help to one of our members. I think Leowe are very lucky to have dealers such as yourself who really take an interest in the brand & upholding its good name. Take a bow & welcome to Beoworld Chris.

  • Re: passive speakers

Both decent sounding speakers but the S55's will most definately need the bass drivers refoaming & also worth replacing the cap's in the crossovers. The RL60.2's have rubber surrounds so won't have this problem. S55's would be my personal choice out of the two - I really rate them, especially on the original stands Chris.

Make a note of the serial number before they take it away! They could simply exchange it for a working one (thus covering themselves that it is fit for purpose) and you seem adamant you want rid of it. You are entitled to a full refund as far as I'm aware for return of the non working TV. Chris.

Theese turntables are getting older, and the mechanical parts are siezing up. I have had the problem with 3 Beogram 4000 series (one 4000, one 4002 and a 4004), all has been stagnant in a decade or so. This is a great record player that have the looks!
Do you think
Hi Chris -- well, no! I did browse through a lot of threads but this one did not turn up in my search. Thanks, it looks like that could very well be the problem.
You probably just searched the Beogram section, this thread was actually posted in the workbench section as tends to happen frequently. You just need
