I am using iTunes 7.1.1(5) and OSX 10.4.9 . I think the BS2 is as up to date as it can be!

Mine used to appear in iTunes but stopped I think when I updated to iTunes 7 some time ago. Just for you I have dug out the whole thing again - and it is now recognised! I have no idea why! Have you updated the software via the Mac again? There is another update you don't need the PC for!

j0hnbarker: No worries - it was a pleasure to write about. I have four Beolits: a 1960s 600, 70s 600, a 609 and an 800. Just to say a big thank you to John Barker who has written and excellent review of the Beolit 800 for Beoworld. I know John has been very pleased with the 800 though he has managed to keep his review most objective! Many thanks!

The Beocom 6000 is quite frankly brilliant. It may not have some features that some DECT phones now have, but as a cordless phone system, it does everything I want. The headset will mean I can type as I talk, which can be useful! I now have 4 Beocom 6000s and one Beocom 2. Have also bought 6000s as wedding presents a couple of times - what better way
