  • Re: Where in the states can I buy powerlink sockets....

I am not sure if it is what you are looking for, but Panamax makes wall sockets that have connections for Powerlink, Masterlink, and electricity. We purchased our from a B and O dealer and had them installed by the dealer. http://www.panamax.com/PDF/Datasheets/MIW_BO_Fact_Sht-5.pdf

  • BV7 or Beo 4 problem?

We have both a satellite box and cable TV connected to our BV7 MIII. Sat on the Beo 4 activates Satellite. TV activates the internal tuner with cable. When using Satellite the red button on the Beo 4 activates the onscreen program guide. Recently I have had several occasion when I have been watching satellite and press the red button on the Beo 4 and

[quote user="Keith Saunders"] Below are my answers in the same order they are listed above:- The simple answer is "YES" it can. The Configuration Tool provides the ability to "Macro" or link commands together. You can also add a mix of B&O or 3rd party commands within the same screen. For example, you are controlling

  • Re: Beo 5 or not? with Sony BDP-S550 and Dish

Thank you Keith for the excellent answers. Reading your answers I realized one of my questions had a typo. I meant to ask if a button can be added to the Beo 5 to open the BV7 DVD. I mistakenly typed Beo 4 in my question.

  • Re: Beo 5 or not? with Sony BDP-S550 and Dish

On our BV7 we are using an older Sony model number to control the Blu-Ray. Is the BDP-S550 now available to be added to the PUC? Thanks!

  • Re: LinkPlayer Feedback Thread

Yes, I believe you should be fine with no eye. We have an iMac and Beoport with Beolab 4000s in one room with an eye. I can control in that room with either the Beo 4 or the Apple remote. We then have two other rooms connected by Masterlink. One has a BV7 MKIII and Beosound 3000. The Beo 4 controls N. Music and N. Radio perfectly. Other room has speakers

  • Re: LinkPlayer Feedback Thread

You will need an ir connected to the Beoport if you want to control it in the room with the Beoport and Mac, or you can use an Apple remote. In the other rooms the BS4 and BL3500 will work fine if all are connected by Masterlink.

  • Re: Ugh! The motorized stand on my Avant doesn't work!

On our Avant the standby position and the on position are set in the on screen menu. Turning it on or off causes the Avant to turn to the appropriate position. Pressing 0 on the Beo 4 has no effect. Pressing 1 turns the Avant as far left as it will go, 9 as far right as it will go, 2-8 each has a position between the extremes.

  • Re: Ugh! The motorized stand on my Avant doesn't work!

Pressing a number should make the stand turn to a position that corresponds with that number. Using the arrows on the Beo 4 it will move while the arrow is pressed. As long as the button is held down, it should not stop.
