I have a Beovision LX2800 that I bought on Ebay a few months ago. Until the beginning of this week it was working perfectly. For the last couple of days it has not been responding to the remote. It starts and works OK y when I press the button next to the power switch but I can't control anything. I have replaced the batteries on the Beolink 1000

joeyboygolf: Beware Alex, the Stones can still fill Wembley while your modern favourites couldn't fill a phone box. Couldn't agree more. It's a few years since I saw them, but they are still one of the best live acts I have ever seen. Simon

I only contracted the Beovirus over christmas last year so this is an unsettling vision of the future for me! My tally for the first 12 months is Beolab 1700 Beovox S45-2 x 2 Beovox S30 Beocenter 5000 (not working

I know Martin (username Dillen) does capacitor kits for the older Beovox speakers because I have used them with excellent results in my s45-2's It is probably worth sending him a PM to see if he does kits for the Pentas as well. Simon

That's not an older system! Many of us are using B&O systems on a daily basis that date back to the 1970's and earlier. As Graham says, the appropriate leads are available on eBay or you can order them from somewhere like Maplin which is where I got mine. Simon

It depends what you mean by defects! If it is in working order I would be very tempted at that price. There is one on ebay now that has already reached £102.00 Simon
