But you were asked to 'have a look' at it? Would you not agree that this could be interpreted as B&O requesting, in as many words, for the site to at least consider taking it down? Certainly the literal interpretation is hard to accept - i.e. that they wanted you to look/view/see the photo for nothing more than the sake of it. Just because

Peter I think Lee stated something to the effect that B&O contacted him and asked him 'to have a look' at the photo. Wasn't this prior to its removal? Lee seemed to suggest that it was.

Yep - my new Peerless units were £50 each, so that sounds about right at 100 Euros. The speakers were given to me for free, so I saw it as a good investment, as two new rings plus glue was approx £20 anyway...

Sounds good :) We've waited for such a long time, I suppose next spring isn't too far away...perhaps we could have a 'bridging' event in the meantime? Anyway - sounds like a great idea. If/when this comes off, I'm more than happy to help out with anything...

I acquired a pair of MC120.2s with both woofers rotten, and one of the voice coils fried. I wasn't willing to look for a spare unit and then go to the hassle of refoaming, so I went and found some new Peerless woofers that matched the specs of the originals. You might find this thread interesting. I can certainly vouch for the replacement units

I'd love to do this again, as I wasn't present in Newcastle 2+ years ago for this. Would be great to hear everything together in one room - maybe as part of the much mooted, but never initiated, northern Beoworld meet??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???
