The BC2 can be set in Option 4 I think, and therefore would react to LINK codes only. So you'd press LINK Radio for the BC2 Radio. I also beleive that it can be set as Option 0, and then only work as a DVD player.

You have to be a bit carefull as well as in the UK the wiring is different and does not necessaraly give you access to both the Neutral and the Live cables.

If you do not already have a Beosound, I would get a Beocenter 2 of course. Other than that a DVD1 is fine.

Aludim or Bossdim (which are actually the same product) can be a perfect replacement for the LC2.
