Great, glad it worked out for you. Cheers JK

Thanks, finally somebody agrees with this. I am really surprised that people are more concerned about missing apple lossless then operating that thing with Beo4 versus a 2 way remote. Cheers JK

>> You won't want to browse your music with a Beo4 if you can use the BeoSound 5 instead...<< Well, if I have to get up from my couch I prefer the Beo 4 to be honest. That is why I am thinking that the panel comes off. If you think about how much you do with the remote versus on the actual unit when listening to music. MOTS - more of

http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7969653 search the apple forum. There is a remote combination that lets you change the resolution without going through the menu I believe. That should help. Cheers JK

I think what will happen is that the Beomaster 5 is a full replacement for Beomedia. I would even think they sell it on their own. The BS5 I am guessing is just a front end for beomaster that deals with the music. This is also why I think it is so important that it comes off that podest. If I recall correct some people were successful installing additional codes, it might block out the mp4 extension when uploading. I am not so much interested in the video function, music is what I want. Cheers

Sonos can play apple lossless. So the statement that they don't license it out can not be correct. That said, I do believe that 320 is a good choice since lossless files are just too big to handle with most portable devices and who would want to manage 2 libraries. Once I know what I do next, I will re-rip my collection up to 320 from 192 which

I haven't installed it yet since there are comments about it's stability but it seems they will add the genius playlists to the Apple TV and Stand By will come accessible through the menu. That would be good. Cheers JK

@ Alex, the documentation how to connect Beomaster to a Mac was posted here. No lossless. To be honest, I can live with some compression, that is not the issue for me. Looking at the pictures, I think it will come of that podest. It wouldnt make any sense for it not too designwise. The podest must be super heave to hold it and I doubt they needed space
