When I bought my BV7-40 I choosed 7-4, but then change for 7-2. The sound is far better..
I went the other way around and thought the move from 7.2 to 7.4+BL9s was an improvement. The 7.2 is great, but mix a 7.4 with other speakers and the sound was definitely improved. Trip - bear in mind that most homes
Moxxey, Was it primarily the BL 7.6's size that added to the comical effect?
No, the TV just looked too big. I guess the BV7-55 looks a lot bigger than the BV9, as an example, as it has a huge black border around the panel. It's quite high, as you can imagine. I'm waiting for either a BV7-46 or BV10
Did you stop by and see it in Bath Chris? I was in their last week..
Yes, the 7-55 is there until Monday. I thought you said you weren't going back in the store? The picture quality on the BV10-40 was excellent, but I don't think is any better than my BV7-40 MKIV from viewing HD, in-store. However
Just went by my dealer today, and thank god for that. Yesterday, he received his shop's BV7-55. This tv looks absololutely perfect
Clearly opinions differ. I saw the BV7-55 today and thought it looked comical! Almost as if someone had paid B&O to produce it and the were somewhat reluctant, knowing how

Just back from viewing the BV7-55. My god, this is H-U-G-E. Makes the BV7-40 look like a 26" TV :) Picture quality was surprisingly good, for such a large LCD screen. It's so big, that it looks like it was created as a wind-up. Doesn't look 'real'. Can't explain what I mean. Just so large. Also saw the BV10-40 (with the orange
Has anybody had a problem with the MkIV 7-40? I have recently updated the software in one and now it freezes from time to time. Also now the blu ray drive won't update via the ethernet socket, it doesn't even see the connection. Anyone have anything similar?
My BV7-40 MKIV freezes/crashes, but your problem
Hi Lee I think you've got to pin a date on thi
He's got a point. It's almost impossible to guarantee availability until you know what you're doing on the day of the meet (or can work around it). I'm in London at least once a week. If I know the day of the meet, I can arrange to be up on the
I hear 7.1.1 is now out.
These sw updates don't fix my major 'HDCP crashing issues' I've experienced since I bought the BV7-40 MKIV. It's a known problem, too. Glad to see they are giving it top priority
What is the picture of the BV10 expected to be like compared to for instance the 100hz BV7 with blu-ray that I have had for a few months?
As I've said, many many times.....the BV7-40 MKIV has an *oustanding* picture, as long as the source is outstanding. The picture is only good if you deliver the TV with
No one questioned the sound quality on the bv7 before imho, but some say it is much improved picture from earlier models, i have seen the latest bv7-40 i still not good enough
Completely wrong. The picture on the BV7-40 is *outstanding* as long as the source is outstanding. This is the key point most people seem
