• Re: Dust Cover "Stops"?

I may have an old dust cover somewhere with these on - I'll have a look.... What sort of condition is your cover in? Mine may be better & if so you can have the whole thing. Chris.

  • Re: Rebuilt MMC2--worth it?

I would imagine it would be the same as a MMC2 Lee. IIRC, MMC1's were simply handpicked MMC2's. I'm sure Peter et al will correct me if I'm wrong!!!! Chris.

  • Re: A B&O Beogram virgin

If you want both a cosmetic match & datalink control then any of these will do :- (R= radial, T = tangetial) Beogram 2000 ((R)1980's one) Beograms 5000 (R), 5005(T), 5500(T), 3000 ((T) 1980's one) Beogram 3300 (T), 9000 (T). NOTE that none of these are fitted with a RIAA preamp as this already exists in the phono input of the beomaster 2000

  • Re: M100 bass driver
My big question now though is: Am I potentially damaging the driver by continuing to play the speakers??
YES - most definately. Try gently pushing the dome of the dust cover inwards in a direct line and if you can feel even the very slightest rubbing then the coil isn't centred and will need to be redone I'm

  • Re: Datalink on Beogram TX

Yes the info' on site is correct. I owned one for a while and it didn't support datalink. The RCA/phono plugs were factory fitted, probably to appeal to non-beosystem owners. Chris.

  • Re: Beogram 2000 motor mount grommet/bushings

Hi Hank - we don't normally sell things like this on Beoworld - we give them away in the knowledge that these favours are returned at some point. Maybe not directly here but these favours tends to get repaid somewhere along the road of life. Before I fall into philosophy mode, check your "inbox" at the top right hand corner of the page

Are these the ones? Ignore the blue appearance - my camera flash has caused that, they are black rubber.

  • Re: M100 bass driver

As for the buzzing, is there anything at all loose inside the cabinet which could be causing this? There is also the chance that the drive coil hasn't been centred correctly when refoamed but I would also expect to hear distortion even at lower volumes if this was the case. I know it is extra work but you should try swapping the drivers over and

MK 3's have powerlink only.
MK3 have Powerlink and Line in
True - true..... I was really simply stating the ease in which they will connect to a BC9000 & utilise the displays. You can use MK3's but will need either Speakerlink > Powerlink adaptors
