Wiring is a pain but worth it. My TV and speakers are all hardwired with Powerlink cables under the floor. Only problem is that one cannot move the system around so easily but the room lends itself to a particular layout. I still have to work out where I can put a projector though!

Remember that it is just a guide. Stores will differ as they have freedom to set prices themselves. There is no RRP.

I take it that the Avant is your master source. Do you have a music system as well? If not, the Avant will be Option 1. If you have an audio system then it depends on how you have your main speakers attached.

Not stupid at all. The output from the BV7 is at what is called pre-amp out or variable line level. Most power amplifiers actually simply amplify by a set amount and the volume depends on the input. Therefore the volume is dependent upon the output of the BV7; the Pentas just amplify what they are given. So your remote works on the BV7 and not the Pentas

If they have the 4 pin connectors, they should be the Beolabs. You will need a Powerlink to RCA connector and if you want displays you might be able to connect them with a 4 pin DIN as well. The displays could prove problematic! The handbook is on site. Lovely speakers - I have a pair of Mk3s myself and still like them as much as any speaker I have

Rather depends on how you want to do it. The conventional way would be to get a Beolink Active and wire to the link room using ML wire. That would be my choice. You would get a small round Infra Red eye, about the size and shape of a hockey puck and a black box which the speakers would attach to which can be hidden. The alternative is to use a Wireless

Sorry about Safari! I used it as well till we changed site - the web designers did also but Community Server is Microsoft based and hates Safari! I use Firefox not and it works fine. Actually I now prefer it.
