I think if it's done judiciously it can work. It can really bolster our company image in that most of the people who are only vaguely familiar often think of us as a design-only company. Having a strong technology portfolio licensed among other top tier manufacturers wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Good points, all. But people are much likely to add a new piece to their collection that has updated features than replace an existing items with another version of itself.

Chris, A well thought out list, but you're asking for updates on products that won't even be around in a few years! -No sense in updating the BeoSounds & BeoCenters to work a certain way with BeoPort when all will be retired. -Same GUI on TVs is a priority.
