  • Re: Got No Bass! on my 1700!!! and i have to turn the volume up high before i here anything!! boohoo!

Hi and welcome to the forum Quick reply but the thing you are missing is called an RIAA box between the Beogram and Overture. There are many aviable on the marked and and basically any box will do the job fine. Any radio shop will mostly have such a box for sale.

  • Re: Lifelong Pursuit of the perfect Hi-fi

Well, since I got into the B&O virus around 2003 for life I must say that yes you can spend the rest of your life on that perfect hifi in other brands. A few months ago a dedicated Hifi store opend up here in town located right next to my B&O dealer. I have not sat a foot inside but they did put up a free catalog which I looked through but that's

  • Re: Still can't stop buying old B&O!!

So why are we buying old B&O? To me it fits more of my income and besides the Jacob Jensen design the old units does not seam dated. When it hits the 20 odd years it mostly needs a qualified repair/service but thats my so far experience of it. Can anyone agree? Also to the most important thing. Audio and video can still compete with 2007 standards

You are not alone. Once you are in its hard to get out or stop and say: I got enough. As for older B&O its a hit and miss but still getting items home can be a very exciting thing to spend your time on. Some weeks ago I saw an interesting bunch of B&O items on Lauritz.com: http://www.lauritz.com/Item/Item.aspx?LanguageId=1&ItemId=1138653&nBids

  • Re: Suggestions for 8000 system (request for advice.. not an advertisment!!)

And that is why old B&O is more for the enjoyment than the money as a full system like the Beolab 8000 will mostly just break even if its complete and working 100%. In that case you got the best offer for either selling or your own enjoyment. When the system is working it will stay that way for years to come and who knows what the used marked for

  • Re: Suggestions for 8000 system (request for advice.. not an advertisment!!)

I have almost the same trouble with a Beosystem 6000. So far its a white edition Beomaster 6000, Beogram 6006 and a Beocord 6000. In non working condition those units are not worth much. However once they are up and running and the system is complete they can make the money back in the long run. I got the Beocord running but the other 2 needs service

  • Re: vintage vs. modern B&O products

The only trouble is the typical 20 odd years or more on the older stuff makes most of the units in need of af qualified repairman for the most part. At the moment Dillen is going through my Beogram 8002 and I just got a white edition Beosystem 6000 without speakers/stand and remote from Lauritz.com. I got the 3 units, Beogram 6006 (original mmc20en

  • Re: Is it just happening to me???

I can't tell for newer products but only the at least 15 years old. Its a hit and miss when Beo products reach that time but again you can be lucky and we know the general B&O last for a very long time. At least 25 years I would say and that's when the service is needed. My former Beomaster 2000/Beocord 2000 is a good example. Got it cheap

  • Re: Hvilket B&O anlæg skal jeg vælge ...

Ja der er jo en del at vælge imellem. Det afhænger a budgetet og hvilke afspilnings muligheder du ønsker. Cd eller vinyl? Begge dele? Kassete bånd? Radio er standard i Beomastere. Se produkt listen på denne side igenem og find favoriten. Ved køb af ældre end 10 års produkter bør du være
