Thanks! But if it is a problem in the puc, how come the player has worked fine with single clicks for the past year? Why would the problem just occur now? And also, when the problem does occur now, if I unplug the system and the plug back in the problem is gone. Everything works fine with single clicks and then after awhile it goes back to double clicks

We have two pairs of 4000s and a pair of 6000s. Both have excellent sound of course. I tend to prefer the 6000s. Have one pair of 4000s in storage, one pair connected to our iMac and the 6000s are in our living room.

Have had to unplug the system several times to fix the double clicking problem but eventually it returns. Any thoughts?

I am planning on ordering a Beo 5 today. I certainly hope they release the software.

Had an interesting experience with the BDP-S550 and Beo 4 yesterday and today. I had not experienced the need to press commands twice as mentioned here. One press was working fine for me. I seem to remember being told that the Avant had basically 2 4000s built into it for the center channel, or stereo if no other speakers were connected.

Thanks for the great info! It lists a GDishDVR with two versions, 1.00a and 1.10a. Also lists Sony BDP-S300 with two versions, again 1.00a and 1.10a. Any idea what the differences are between the versions and also is there any way to tell which version we have on our BV7?
