So, as soon as a voltage is seen on the line input, the amp switches on with backlight but the display is blank 'cos there is no data signal and STBY is off. Is that correct?

I just checked mine (Powerlink cables though) and the red STBY lights go out when the amps switch on.

Doesn't the STBY light extinguish to indicate switch on???

I assume that you are using some form of DIN to RCA adapter. If so, is it the correct one to pick up the correct pins in the DIN?

All the panels from all the models will fit. Some of the legends will be slightly different but they are little used ones and the 9300 ones are still available from B&O.
