Beogram CD5500. 6500 and 7000 very similar but not as good a transport.

Change to Firefox - Safari doesn't like the site - or vice versa! I use a Mac as well and Firefox seems faster and more stable in most cases.

A perfectly fair point. However I do not see that there will be any change in the ethos of the site. I for one will carry on answering any questions that are asked as will the other members I am sure. However a set of FAQs can be useful to refer to and my answer may well include a link to the FAQ. I have a 4400 and a Beocord 5000 T4715 (and it works! - thanks Tim!) Also have 4 Beovox S45s and some quad LPs though my Beogram 6000 is in Bellac. To be honest, my problem will be finding time!
