Post some pictures of where you plan to put it, and what sort - and I am sure you will get some opinions!

If you are linking rooms, I would use ML from the BS9000 as that is the more modern system. Especially if you are going to use active speakers.
-
Forgive my ignorance - what is a Dreambox?
-
The Beomaster 1001 will be fine . I am willing to bet that it goes pretty loud too! As a matter of interest, which speakers?
-
If he can find the rare CD4 module, this fits into the Beogram 4002 (it was an option) and boosts the signal to line level. I would actually suggest looking out for a Beogram 6000 which has this as standard and which do come up fairly frequently.

wtlc2zpx: What is the use of a G-Code socket, first time I hear about it. Does anyone know which country has this Guide Plus thing? p. Related to the Guide Plus+ device - switches on the STB. Doesn't seem to be used in the B&O version.
-
It's a 7300! The backs appear identical , the front inputs are the same, though they have re-designed the front panel, and the Edit functions, although prettified by B&O, are suspiciously similar.
-
Fancy a small wager on that! Downloading the 7300H manual at present and will compare and contrast! Seem very, very similar in spec and have much the same connections - front and back - and in the same places on the back - including the G-Code socket which is roundly ignored in the B&O manual! I'll let you know what the Philips manual is like
-
It was very good of you to offer! I had not publicised the fact as I tend not to want to steal B&O's thunder, but it would seem that dealers appear to have been supplied with manuals and are handing them out. In that case, it would seem churlish not to let those interested see them. I am a bit surprised that they have been made available before
-
The manuals are actually already on the site for Gold and silver members. In a few languages.
