• Re: Beovision 5 Standby light colour

After a 30 second disconnection the red light is on, and seems to come on OK after running the TV with its STBs and then switching off again. The green light had stayed on for three days (whiilst I was away) although the elctronic curtains had shut, and both STBs had gone to standby. I am guessing that the problem was something to do with the HDR1 but
Thanks Graham - what type of Freeview box are using - I have a spare Sony one and wondered of HDR1 could control that?
I'm using a Panasonic TU20/30 type Freeview boxes (one on Avant, one on BV5). I took a chance purchasing an HDR1 and found that it was in the STB list. If I'm not mistaken someone else
Hi there I've cancelled my Sky+ Subcription and have been told that I won't be able to record on it anymore, so I've thought about getting a Humax PVR - I noticed that on the list of supported PVRs there is a Humax PVR 81something but the one I've seen is a 91omething in Tesco - has anyone bought one recently

Thanks for the responses. I am at a different location today but will check out the TV again tomorrow. Thinking about it, I've probably only had this situation since adding the HDR1. The screen on the TV definitely shuts down and the electronic curtains close, but the light stays green. I was also fairly certain that the STBs were going into standby

  • Beovision 5 Standby light colour

Have a BV5 recently purchased from Lee and set-up with HDR1 and two STBs. All working fine, but just noticed that when the TV is switched off the green light in the top IR receiver dome stays green. I can't remember whether it ever turned red (which seems to be the norm with my other B&O TVs.) Is this normal for a BV5. If not, anything to worry

  • Re: Beovision 1 Floor Stand

Well, I have to admit to having bought a BV1/BC1 wall stand in the past so that I could move a BC1 from the videostand base that it came with........... but at some of the prices that are being asked for floorstands I think I would look for a complete but faulty BV1 on its floorstand if I needed the latter rather than pay up to £295 for the stand
Whats a beovision 1 floor stand fetch these days? Neil
I've seen a badly described BV1 complete with tall stand go for about £120 on eBay. I've also seen someone asking £200 for a short stand on its own (but don't know whether they got it.) Lifestyle on this site are currently asking £295

  • Re: HDR-1 as STB controller and more...

Peter, take a look here . This doesn't address all of your issues, but I have found that the HDR1 is a good way of adding an STB controller with a reasonably up-to-date STB-C list. (Although I can't recall whether apple is in the list or not..... and I am not at my HDR1 location today to check.) Lee has just dropped the price of HDR1 's
