Welcome to BeoWorld! I assume you have an off-brand CD hooked up using RCA's to the TAPE2 (T2) input? Is there anything in TAPE1 (T1) -the DIN socket? You can jack an iPod or better yet, an Airport Express to T1 using a MINIJACK->DIN cable.

Just one other quick thought. Apart from the sound... As much as I love the 3000/4000/4400 -one must admit that from a styling viewpoint, B&o went from the bridge of a U-BOAT to the bridge of NCC-1701 with the 6000! That in itself, makes them appealing. My matching BC5000 is well, quite frankly -junk. When I can close out a few other projects..

Congratulations on a rare piece! I have followed these tables for several years but have never got one. I see quite a few of them pass by in various flavors: color, arms, plinths, etc... so, I am curious: What distinguished the 3000 from any of the other 124's besides the arm and the branding?
