Jandyt: Done it again. Just got a Beogram 1500 (old type), a Beomaster 1700 tuner and two Beovox 1000 for £5! Andy T. I was watching that one! Decided to chicken out as there have been loads of boxes arriving at the house recently and arriving home with yet more B&O might not have gone down well. More seriously, I agree with Peter on the quality issue, I would personally keep an eye out on eBay for a vintage pair of Sennheisers.I use a set of HD535s I bought for a nominal sum on eBay with my Beocenter 7000and they are a very good match.

Congratulations on another job well done! Simon

I stood in a (non B&O) TV shop today where they had displays of maybe two dozen plasma and LCD TV's showing a standard definition 4:3 picture on each of them

Welcome to Beoworld! I bought an LX2800 a few months ago and it is a lovely TV set. The B&O dealers in Chester (Part of Peters Hi-fi) repair older B&O so it is probably worth giving them a ring, just google B&O Chester. Simon
