Only on those with more than 9 tracks and yes, it will play all of track 10. I get the impression that this is not a mechanical problem and is more likely electronic or logic related?
-
The CD stops spinning after track 10 and the laser block seems free and easy.

Help! Not seen this before. I have just done the C2103 fix using a Dillen kit. All fine and CD mechanism now up and running, except......... it wont play past track 10!! Known good CD mech plays fine when plugged into the same Beocenter 8500. I don't know if the offending CD mech ever played past track 10 as I can't remember where it came from

I just tried to point a new user to the dealer list and it seems that the posts (3 of them) require moderation!!!!!! I didn't swear at the OP, honest!
Can't you bring up the serial number in service mode? Never had to do it but i recall in a land far, far away a man mentioning something like that.. I could have been dreaming though! Lee
Quite correct Lee TM32 will give you the serial number!

Many products have a second serial number sticker inside somewhere. I have not had a 3000 in bits recently and cannot recall if this is fact for this product. The unit probably is still traceable!!
-
No problem AFAIK. You are, of course, limited to the same volume setting in both rooms.

Just hooked up spare Lab 3000 amplifier with signal jenny input 1 kHz sine wave into Line In socket with jury rigged old BL6000 driver to monitor output. The red light stays on and back light does not come on. Sound comes from speaker. It would appear that you use the slide switch on side of amp as on/off. Best I can do for you Mika.
