• Re: Ebay is getting worse

John, I read about that in another thread. Paypal strikes again. Can't remeber if it was on this site or another. Someone complained about Paypal refunding a buyer. What did Paypal do. Closed down his account and froze the money in it for 180 days.
It was on here Craig &

Well after my rant here, I sent a not so friendly reply. Stating a few true facts. Not had a reply back as yet. Only reason I let it go so cheap was just to get it out the way as I am moving this weekend and did not want to take this with me. Lets see what tomorrow brings. Might even go and get it back from him and give him a full refund. He is only

  • Ebay is getting worse

You just cannot believe some buyers on Ebay. Yesterday I sold an LX2500 with remote for £20. When the buyer came to collect it, I had it all set up so he could see it was working O.K. He kept on going on and on about tube life etc. Well he took the TV away and seeemd quite happy. Got home last night to find a message saying the TV has all sorts

  • Re: Beosound 9000 connection options?

Don't think there will be any problem conecting the MX via the Materlink conection. You will however find that there is no Datalink on the AUX connection. Even though it is a 7 pin conection. Only 5 of the pins a re connected. You could connect the Beocord and Beogram to the AUX with some sort of splitter, but you wil not be able to control them

  • Re: Beocenter 9000 questions

Had my old Beocenter 9000 conncted through a Beolink converter to my BV3-32. One limitation I found was that you cannot set the Beocenter to Option 0. Or any other Option for that matter. So you got double commands when using the remote. Not sure if there was a later S.W. revision to cure this. Craig

  • Re: Beosound 3 Power Adaptor (Ampere Question)
Should work well. The main difference is that the one at the local shop can deliver a higher amperage than you actually need.
Agree with that, as the battery charges up the amount of amperage going in will taper off anyway. Craig

  • Beolink 1000 (MK5???)

Beolink 1000 in very good condition. Buttons are almost like new as you can see. There are just some signs of wear on the bottom corners. Pretty sure this is a MK5, as the pattern on the back is not like a MK3 or MK4. Supplied in genuine B&O packaging with new batteries. £50 plus postage. Craig

  • Re: New Manuals

Just checked through my pile. Found the following which don't seem to be on the site. Beogram 1000 Beovision 5502 -7702 - 8802 MCL82 Installation and ref manuals. Also have a Beolink guide called "How to set uo the Beolink system" If you need any of these scanning Peter, please let me know. Should be able to do them at the weekend. Ill

  • Re: New Manuals
New equipment is not an issue - it is the 60s,70s and early 80s that are tricky. I have most service manuals but user manuals are thin on the ground. I'd ask B&O but they appear to have chucked out most of this era!
From what I saw they were all from this sort of era. Craig
