  • Re: Ebay is getting worse

I hate to admit this, and it sounds very elitist - but whenever I put cheap/low end items on ebay i get nothing but grief too.. People see the name 'Bang & Olufsen' and think they deserve high end service and a high end product. The fact they are spending less than the price of a large Pizza, Garlic Bread and a bottle of Coca Cola on what

  • Re: It´s a sin - I know, but....

It's been done plenty of times - i can't remember the last BV1/BC1 High Stand i had in stock that was the original height! Lift up the aluminium disc trim and you'll see the pole is clamped in. Undo the allen bolt, free the pole, then take it to a metalworking engineers shop who'll precision cut it to your desired height - bingo! Lee

  • Re: Site membership payments

All payments are working fine! Clear cache, roll your left trouser leg up, rub your tummy and pat your head - then try again. The payment portal/process has been working 100% for a few days now. Lee

  • Re: How old is this BL 2000

To be really nerdy, it's very late 2000 - probably first sold early 2001. Either way, the BeoLab 2000 are bulletproof - you should have no problems with one of any age.

  • Re: Beosystem 2

A diificult ask - I don't think that many were sold in the US compared to Europe and the rest of the world. You're looking for a 110v version too - and the Euro version isn't going to do the trick as it's a 220v. Have you thought about breaking the bank and going for a BeoSystem 3 ?!1

  • Re: Beomedia1 crashed....

Sorry to hear of your issues here. I can't help you myself, but this post should bump up the post and perhaps someone can help?! Did you get the new hard drive from B&O by the way? Lee

  • Re: belt for beomaster 6000

Have you contacted Martin (Dillen) ? He has more belts and parts for older equipment than anyone I know and provides more back up than you would ever expect - a true enthusiast that has saved more B&O pieces from the junkyard than we can all imagine!! You can PM him by clicking on his name (he's on lots of posts) or do a member search. Lee

  • Re: BeoVision 10: can it OTB control UK Virgin Media box via PUC?

I would assume the PUC list is the latest one as standard - no matter where in the world the TV is sold. I know that 1 and 2 in your list are on there, but I'm not sure about 3 - i'm not at work and have no access to my PDF of the latest list. A UK dealer will be able to upgrade the list for you for a small fee I'm sure. It's software

  • Re: IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT about Membership Renewals

We will of course let you know! We've also moved to a new server, which requires a new SSL Security Certificate in order to process payments safely - that's the https bit which gives us all protection when handing over card details, which is of course rather a requirement!! The Bank Holiday in the UK knocked us out for a few days and set us
