No doubt stolen as it was easy to carry - probably will not be recognised for what it is. Very annoying. 50m of cable cannot have been that easy to carry mind you - it is pretty heavy. When I was burgled, about the only thing I was left with was the cable!

I think the TV range is pretty extensive at present. BV7, BV9, BV4, BV10, BV8and BC6. As far as I am aware, they will not make a stand alone Blu-ray player, relying on the PUC to control other makes.

Yes, though with the price of 28" Avants falling rapidly, probably economically not worth it. One in the colour you want will probably be cheaper than the parts and labour to change your existing set. Of course you could just spray paint the one you have - lots of masking and some car spray paint means you would have a bespoke set!

The Beomaster 4500 has no built in RIAA so you will need an external one. This will actually sort the other problem as if you ask Steve at Sounds Heavenly or Lee at LifestyleAV , they will no doubt be able to get you a RIAA with RCA inputs and DIN outputs. The MMC4 should be fine - it is the standard fitting and a perfectly acceptable cartridge. The

Had a quick flick through the service manual. The screen is 100/120Hz refresh rate - I had thought it was similar to the BV10 but was wrong. I cannot see any setting to turn off the 100Hz.

Why not just recover them? You will probably get a better result as most of the covers will have faded by now anyway.

I think the picture of the BV10 is outstanding - but the sound is poor compared to the BV7. I'd wait.

I think this one is actually 200-250Hz . I don't think you can - why do you want to?
