Do you mean a Beocenter1 (TV set) or the Beosound 1 (Portable CD/Radio)? If the Beocenter 1 you are a bit limited as it is designed for Video connections only. Does yours have an ML socket? If so, I would look for something like an Ouverture to connect to it. If not, try connecting a cassette player to the Audio L & R sockets of the Camcorder input

You have identified the problem correctly. The Beomaster 5500 has a RIAA built in, but the 6500 does not. Therefore the Beogram 5500 will not work properly - you may also have noticed that it doesn't respond to your remote! You need an external RIAA - interesting thread on how to make your own here !

They are quite cheap now as the Beosystem 3 is clearly superior. The AV7000 is a US only model (I know there were a few European prototypes!) and is not suited to a PAL based system. It will also be 110V. The user

I have put the proper BM 800/901 service manual on now. Previously just the schematic sheet.

Could it be condensation? Or do you mean the BS9000 needs to warm up. If the latter, I would suspect a cracked solder joint which will make contact once warm.
