Beogram 4000 - built without compromise and massively over engineered. Surprisingly the best figures will be the 7000 et al except for wow and flutter which the 8000 / 8002 excels at. Have had almost all of them and the one I use is the 4000 and a 4004 . The best sounding would probably be the Beogram 3000 Type 5210 , which was a Thorens TD124 in reality

The 1610 is the Mk2 AV9000 audio kit. It has auto-configuration and a built in power supply.

If you are a gold or silver member, the manual is available for download, along with the user manuals for the system. The settings are for the audio kit with switch. There are a couple of different sorts!!

Probably from a brochure. The reviews on Beocentral are perhaps a little more balanced! Some reviews on Beoworld (and even a couple on Beocentral) were written by me, I am afraid! The 'lid' is held by two or three little self tappers at the front and then lifts up. There is even a 'bonnet stay'!

ZeTof: Hello. ....and maybe you don't know that: but the laser diode of the CDX (and CDX2 & CD50) is (are) one of the most reliable laser diode of the world. Never used. The CDX and CD50 seem pretty bullet proof, but the CDX2 uses the CDM2 laser assembly and is nothing like as reliable.

Ring them and ask for Mike. Email is almost a waste of time!

I really do not think you need to do this! The centre speaker is for speech and I doubt you will regularly use more than 1W! A CX100 on its side will be perfect and nice and cheap.

Recone lab ! They did mine!

You definitely do not need a BL2 with Beolab 5s. If anything, it will degrade the sound. With Beolab 9s, one could argue that it is necessary.

The AV9000 audio kit set up guide is on site and it details the option setting and the way to run the cables. Essentially you set the 7000 to option 0 and set the switch on the audio kit to 3. He will need a 7 pin Audio Aux lead and a Powerlink lead run from the BM7000 to the Audio kit.
