When I got my MKIII version with the LX5500 I found out that it was DOA. So down to the dealer who installed a new printboard in 5 minutes. The cost was 47£. It still works great. Printboards and rubber mat should be aviable from your dealer.

For the Beogram 8002: Live at Fillmore east record 3 side 1. BOG with Jimi Hendrix Danish band Shu Bi Dua mainly the '70s early '80s stuff. Fox Blue Hotel record.

It's a hit and miss buying older B&O. Any auction site avaible has the same pitfalls. The tangial players are great when the work 100% right and looks good with no scratches etc. The thing not to overlook is the electronic is at least 20 years old! This causes strange things to tangial players. Just look through this forum for instance. My Beogram

I was wondering how such a review should be done as I could write one when I get mine finished. It has a few faults but nothing major. It's identical to 8000/8002 and 6000 so what's special to write when the operation and basic design/build is the same as the 5 Beograms of that type there is? It has the old mmc20en catridge but then what else

One thing that I learned as musician is that a terrible sounding tone can't be fixed regardless of how good the system is. Bad sounding or different comes down to the actual recording medium which I guess very few thinks about as it seldom comes up.

Thank's Martin After I posted my first response I got thinking that we are talking about 30 years old hifi here and the leason here is: If the amplifier/speakers is fully functional and sounding right then it compares to todays B&O very well. I'm getting alot of Beosystem 6000/8000 research/service done at the moment and few B&O units

I don't know if I can be 100% acurate as I mostly got experience with Beovox M150 and Beovox S45-2. The Beovox S45-2 sound pretty good for their size. No lack of bass or mid/treble freq for instance. Sound is big enough for the smaller systems. The Beovox M150 wich I use on a daily basis sounds big and clear in all details of the music. Again it
