The codes you have found are "short List" Pronto codes meaning they do not provide the actual pulse timing, but provide the carrier frequency, product address and command code. Whilst the codes you have found are valid "Short List" Pronto codes, most found on the web are "Learn't codes If you have a learn't code, then

Bas, A very warm welcome to Beoworld The Beovision Mark III was introduced around March 2006, the Mark 4 about October/November 2008 and the Mark 5 about May 2009

George, A very warm welcome to Beoworld. Have you reviewed the Beo5 Infromation and Resource Centre HERE where there is a Sanyo projector XML file

Piet, If you are able to find Panasonic airconditioning codes on the Internet in Pronto HEX format, then I can convert them for you otherwise the only way to create a working XML file is to capture the codes from the remote. Many airconditioning company's particularly ones with LCD status screens on the remotes don't just send the button pressed

This is an XML file generated by a member using the XML Generator and so has ONLY screen buttons, hard keys will still use originally defined B&O codes. I have download this file and tested it and I can confirm that it works. In version 3.0 the IR and IR long Tab will not be visable for added 3rd party products that's why any hard key assigned

To clarify the battery situation.. With Version 3.0 and its associated firmware if you create a 3rd party XML file incorrectly, particularly if you are using RAW which leaves the transmitting LED on or in constant repeat mode, then the battery will show flat within minutes. If you have correctly created an XML file, then you should not have any problems
-
NO, you should not need to do that. Press the standby button down and then press OK (Centre button) to go into the SETUP menu then press INFO and if the battery shows full, then you should not have a problem.

The first (original) download file I provided will work perfectly with version 3.0 Configuration Tool AND 1.41a firmware. It will not work if you have firmware version 1.34a in your Beo5.

Being in Amsterdam is no problem. Beo5 uses Infra Red ONLY and not RF, have a look at my answer to a similar question HERE Not all Samsung products uses the same protocols because many of their products are OEM'ed meaning they are made by someone else. So, if you don't have the means of capturing the codes from your Samsung remote, then I suggest
-
Yes, it is quite possible.. The firmware incompatibility only effects 3rd party products, if you configuration is all B&O it will work without modification. If you have firmware version 1.40a (latest version) then you should use the first XML file I provided.
