First take a look to the soldering connections of the wire from the transformer PCB to the decoder PCB. These might be bad. Check all the solderings on the Decoder PCB. Also check the 33uF capacitor on the Servo PCB, this is also a known problem. If this does not help, it might also be the adjustment resistors for Focus and Lasercurrent on the Servo

Try AV-RADIO with a BeoLink 1000 and check if the TV starts up. If not, one or more components in the power supply might be broken. If the LED turns green without switching on the screen (what should be the case with the command AV-RADIO) the powersupply seems to be OK and the problem is somewhere else in the electronics.

Put an old rubish tape in it, record something on it an be amazed of the quality BeoCord 9000 makes of it. And it performs amazing on all kinds of tapes, because of the Computer Controlled Calibration. And it is the first ever cassettedeck which

Most BeoMasters and BeoCenters had a possibillity to mount this antenna on the back. But I can't seem to find any fixing possibilities for the antenna on any of my BeoMasters 8000. So I think it is not possible to mount this antenna on BeoMaster 8000....
