Hmmm Bitstream has never worked for me before 6.11. Da**, i just thought B&O had made something great this time :) /Weebyx

Ok, i understand... But something has happened since i never before had Blu-Ray sound when bitstream was selected. Oh well, perhaps it is not HD audio compatible anyway, but now the sound is much clearer than before, so i am still happy :) /Weebyx

Ok, but the main thing here is that now there is sound when the PS3 is in bitstream mode, so something must have been changed/fixed. Anyone else with 6.11 and a Blu-Ray player or PS3 ? /Weebyx

Hi I have just had my BS3 upgraded to SW 6.11, and now i suddenly can set my PS3 to send bitsream sound instead of LPCM, i put my Iron Man Blu-Ray disc in the PS3, and there was sound :) I just don't understand if this means the the BS3 now can decode bitstream HD sound. When the PS3 is in its menu, the BS3 displays PCM 7.1 in the "active soundsystem"
In National Lampoons Christmas Vacation a Beosystem 3300 (from memory) gets destroyed by a tree
It is actually a 4500 system :( I have seen that movie i don't know how many times, and that scene kills me every time :) In "The Big Lebowski", theres is a BS9000 and Avant in Maude Lebowski's appartment
As you have an MX4002 in your bedroom, I don't see any other options available to you.
Must buy a newer flatscreen for the bedroom then :) The Beo4 can be put in an "always" linkmode, which means that every command gets the link command send first. /Weebyx
With the Beo5 you could go into the service menu and set into "Dealer Mode" which will reduce the range of teh IR signal and you can also get a "cap" for the Beo4 which does the same function. To set the Beo5 to "Dealer Mode" do the following:- Press the RED (Standby) and centre GO
