LOL, are you serious? The Beolab 11? PMSL

I think they have ICE power amps and LED On/OFF lights placed in an alternative location to the Mk1's and 2's to differentiate them. Hardly ground-breaking stuff.

Anyone who suggests that Beolab 11 could be partnered with a Beolab 3 to create a mid-point product between 3's and 9's (maybe mid-priced only) is a) completely duped by the B&O marketing gumpf and therefore any opinions cannot be relied upon b) stone deaf and therefore any opinions cannot be relied upon c) smoking a lot of Weed and therefore

Total guess but differences between the US and EU versions might be due to the population of an HDMI 'socket' on the EU board by the DVB-HD tuner?

Paul, suggest you go for any single CD based stereo - 2300, 2500, Ouverture, 3000 or 3200 and use the AUX input to connect your equipment to from a 3.5mm jack. These stereos all support Powerlink outputs for your LAB4500's.

afcintra: ....I know that they are differennt, one being active and the other a passive speaker, but how different do they sound? I blame this guy for asking such confusing questions (Sorry Peter for my sense of humour!)
