Is this still a B&o forum? Am I the only one who thinks Apple is enormously overrated, very user-unfriendly (iTunes!). I prefer Windows Media player. I don't want to put a PC on and use iTunes when playing music. In fact I don't want to use Apple or a computer at all. So hopefully B&o comes up with there own network-system.
-
A reason for me not to buy the BS8 is still the lack of a radio. As mentioned here on the site, internetradio is an alternative, but what in case of a holidayhome without internet? FM reception isn't dead at all, in fact it's still very convenient and available everywhere, and sounds very good too.
-
To my surprise it has no FM radio. So this cannot be regarded as a Beosound 1 successor. Anyway, I also think it looks good at the official pictures. Best looking and possible best souding docksystem.

At the risk of going off-topic; strange that the recent designs appear to be of very different quality, for example, the Beovision 10 is spot-on, an instant classic with very good proportions, and than this, the BS8, lookes like it comes from a different factory..Where is the constant quality, design-wise?
-
If this is the real thing, I don't like it. Not B&o to me at all. Hopefuly the sound is. Still want the Beosound 1 then, which is a piece of art. Design-wise BS8 makes me think of the Beocom 5, and that's not a positive comment..

Is there much difference between the M70 and it's successor the M75?
-
What I meant starting this thread, is that I think it's strange that B&o does not have even in the simplest form a complete video productrange. It should not be necessary to shop elswhere as a B&o customer to buy a home video setup. It's like selling loudspeakers and still having to buy a complementary Sony CD-player... Is not acceptable
-
The DVD1 was a good performing DVD-player, I thought? In fact, I think videoplayback like a harddiskdrive, a DVD/BR player should be at least an option for every B&o television. In this respect the user-friendliness for which B&o is famous is not as good as it should be.
-
Every laptop computer has a drive build in...
-
Isn't it strange that a premium brand like B&o doesn't have a complete range of video products? Only the BV7 has an optional DVD/Blueray player build in. The other TV's, including the expensive BV4, are to be coupled to a player of a make other than B&o. How difficult can it be for B&o to offer a decent DVD/BR player with a B&o
