Can someone recommend a decent receiver with pre-amp for this purpose, also is it possible to go over how it's all wired up? Thanks for your help!

Also to clarify, where devices don't have HDMI, i direct connect to the LCD and then optical into the receiver. Those with HDMI, i connect into the receiver and then use the monitor back to the LCD.

Thanks for your reply, i think that covers my main concern of support for the new HD standards. Do you know when these standards are going to be available for upgrade on the BS3??

Hi, I'm within a swipe of a credit card of purchasing a BS3 however i have a few concerns. Can anyone tell me if the BS3 will support the new HD standards (DTS-HD etc)?? I believe it currently does not, however is this something that can be supported through a firmware upgrade?? I'm also slightly concerned about connecting my other devices.
