Mine is good.... :) To check a good Bang tube, the picture should be clear, bright and with vivid colours. If they are dull, forget it...too much $$$

Some do, some don't. A blueish tint to the front of the screen means you do.

Hi there The anti-reflex coating has changed from older versions, due mainly to ROHS regulations. The glass is now treated with a chemical, rather than using a lead treatment system. This makes the screens slightly less durable - so don't go rubbing in the same spot for too long as there is a very real chance you could erode the coating. The best

Yep they are now the nice round figure of £130. I think it's a great starting point don't you.... A great starting point to seriously look for alternatives! Utterly ridiculous and guess what, next year you can bet your bottom dollar or £ or € they will be even more expensive!

Yep I have - constantly... They tend to be Becker products, apart from the high end branded which are very good. I haven't heard any of the HK etc, but they do tend to be very good generally.

They tried - but BMW didn't want any Bang branding and it is BMW's corporate style not to have any other brands visible in their interiors. However, this may change....one day..

Appears to be the latest pricing strategy of Bang. Good on them. They will gradually lose more customers, like me - who really, really thought about my latest prurchase of A8's for a friend, where I would usually just be happy with the price. Bang don't do discounts, so I wouldn't bother asking. However, some floor stock can be offered at 10% less retail.

Great question - but unfortuantly there are many views on this. My view is that Bang, bespite being an expensive product is an authentic product, with most of the products doing exactly what they say. Televisions - Picture quality is very, very good. It always has been, but with the addisiton of HD and LED's etc they are now very, very good. The
