The Ouverture, Beosound 3000 and Beosound 3002's surely have 2 x powerlink sockets according to the tech specs. If there are none - it can't be an Ouverture can it? Does it say Ouverture on the label on the back or is it another variant? It can't be the MCPAV9000 as that has no AUX either. I must admit to being confused by this one. My son

Great news that it's fixed - well done one and all! Seems an odd way of getting to there though. The earlier posted method is copied from the MX user manual and worked on mine in the past. Dave.

The B&O concrete would have to be stylish. Maybe with a remote lid or panel containing various deterant devices or a flame throwing BEO5 remote or Ouverture with guillotine glass doors. Fortunately here in France, we don't seem to have the same social services, do gooders types who frown upon any kind of parental control. In France, parents

Classic! Some examples of well thought out listings. Heavy Metal remote - brilliant. I don't know how you find them? Dave.

Sounds like you're reading the BEO4 remote screen. You do all of this with the TV switched on and all of the lists etc are on the TV screen, not on the remote. Sorry, I should have been more clear. Dave.

She doesn't even crawl and just rolls from place to place. Already though, I'm getting more fearful as I have tons of my collection on the floor - CONA's, various Beolabs prime to be toppled

Ouch, Ouch and Ouch again!. Not pretty is it? Unfortunately this happens with more and more equipment these days which I think is partly due to the 'throwaway' attitude many people have these days. It's easier and cheaper to just throw away there old CD player/DVD/phone or whatever when it breaks (as they seem designed to do just outside

White Beogram 7000 turntable as I missed the one at AV Lifestyle last week! Beomaster 8000 to complete the system. Beolit 39 as it's so rare and the most beautiful radio ever made. Beogram 3000 (Thorens) to finish off my Beosystem 5000 restoration. Nothing much then!. Dave.

Iain, as part of the restoration of my Beomaster/Beolab 5000 system by Frede, I bought an additional Beomaster 5000 and had it sent to Frede directly. It is functioning and I don't know how stripped it will end up as part of my restoration. It seemed a good price: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=300461354533 and apart from
