  • Re: The Summer Holiday in Struer is over - The 8-32 is approaching!

I wish they would release BeoVision 8 in the USA. The design is cool, and the size is good for bedrooms, offices, kitchens, etc. I, for one, don't like large screens much, at least in my home, and the smallest screen B&O has here now is 50". (Until BeoVision 7-40 comes!) 32" would be perfect for my apartment.

  • Re: B&O CD "This is different" by Kipper

I'm the kind of person who would enjoy listening to a truly eclectic CD with a little of every style of music on it. I put my iTunes library on "random" when I'm cleaning house, and I get everything from Bach to Madonna! But I've NEVER met anyone else like me in that regard. It seems to me that most people pull out an album because

  • Re: Mediacenter

Just because a product takes the world by storm doesn't mean it's a good product. Probably means it's a cheap product! Since when do B&O folks follow the crowds? Apple TV is a different device from BeoMedia 1, made for somewhat different purposes; it's unfair to compare the two. ATV's main point is to play video/TV information

  • Re: Beolab 4 PC

I'm not quite as down on the BL4s as everyone else seems to be. I'm going to give you a balancing opinion here. Lab 4s really do produce a nice, clear, separated sound; they have a great design and a convenient size. No, they're not quite as rich as some other speakers, but they are great in certain applications. Sounds like you are a conscientious

  • Re: a question of frequency

Here in the 'States the BeoCom cordless phones use 2.4 GHz frequency digital transmission. I hear that phone specs vary from country to country. I'd call my local dealers and ask them to look it up for you, if the question is important in your decision-making process.

  • Re: Internet Radio

Remember, these measures are being sponsored by the big labels , not by artists! Big labels no longer care about artists, and they surely don't care about listeners. They are into power and money! And like any dictator, they have become paranoid of losing their grip. Closing down indie radio stations would give them even greater control of what

  • Re: BeoMedia1 vs Apple TV

BeoMedia 1 and ATV are designed for slightly different purposes. If you want to watch movies/TV shows or listen to music in different zones throughout your house, and clean up the clutter of all those cases, the absolute sweetest system on the market is Kaleidescape . Full quality playback, no compression. Metadata created by their team of experts as

  • Internet Radio

Hi all, There is a storm brewing for internet radio users, at least here in the U.S. Apparently, royalty rates are going to go sky-high, and most net-radio providers will have to go out of business if something doesn't change. http://www.wired.com/entertainment/music/news/2007/07/webcasters_face_music Apparently the oh-so-intelligent people in the

  • Re: Pictures - I realy miss them!

9 LEE: Bear in mind we can submit all images to Ed who can upload them for you! The initial reason for not making photo upload a free-for-all was to stop spam (which we actually seem to have defeated!) and also to save memory space (which we have blasted into orbit already).. Lee I like the idea of being able to post a gallery of pictures of ones home
